CHAT: This outfit is based on the old Yucatecan mestizo style, but with contemporary lines shown in its short sleeves and the use of shorts instead of a longer pant. It was used by Don Fermín, a mayan priest from Xocen, Yucatan. Its last use was for the Blessing Ceremony of MUREM when the museum opened its doors on 28 April, 2018.
