Huipil, ca. 1980-1995

Huipil of three pieces woven on a backstrap loom of synthetic black wool with strips of woven symbols of birds, corn, and other images in bright synthetic wool. The pieces are divided by a blue satin ribbon. An orange satin collar of triangles surrounds the at the neck with two satin ribbons trailing down the back. Sewn by hand. 2018.18
